These ads are so ill-conceived, you have to wonder how they ever got made.

We’ve all been watching TV and an ad comes on that is so bad you wonder how it ever got made. Sometimes they are so awful they are funny or sometimes they are simply in poor taste. Whatever is wrong with them, they don’t convey the message the advertiser is looking for. Here is a list of some of the worst ads ever made:

Panasonic Woody
In the 1990s, the Japanese electronics giant Panasonic sought to make its new touch-screen computer the predominant home computer in Japan. For reasons not quite clear, they chose the American cartoon character Woody Woodpecker as the spokesman for the computer, which they then named “The Woody.” To promote its key feature - the touch screen - they adopted the phrase “Touch Woody.” Let’s hope it worked better in Japanese.
